Poor or dynamic faults in the equipment usually refer to abnormal vibrations caused by the eccentricity of the rotor component of the rotating machine relative to the axis of the rotating shaft. On-site dynamic balancing means that the dynamic balance correction of the rotor components is directly performed without removing the equipment (generally special instruments are required).
Dynamic balance between water pump and impeller
The water pump and the impeller are rotating bodies. The working requirements require strict control of its dynamic balance level. A water pump impeller with good dynamic balance performance not only runs smoothly, but also has high efficiency and long service life.
When the pump is balancing, the whole rotor part should be done together, the impeller is replaced, the balance point is changed, and it needs to be recalibrated. If it is an ordinary single-stage pump, it is not needed because of the residual imbalance. The impact of the pump is not great. If it is a high-speed pump or a multi-stage pump, it needs to be re-balanced. I don't know much about the high-speed pump. For how long the pump is, the rotor parts should be small and do the balancing. Mark the position of each part and assemble the whole pump so that the balance can be achieved.
Impeller dynamic balance test principle
1. For the rotor of single-stage pump and two-stage pump, when the working speed is <1800 rpm, the static balance can be done regardless of D/b<6 or D/b≥6. However, if you want to do dynamic balancing, you must ensure that D / b <6, otherwise you can only do static balance.
2. For the rotor of single-stage pump and two-stage pump, if the working speed is ≥1800 rpm, if D/b≥6 only static balance can be done. However, the remaining unbalance after the balance is equal to or less than 1/2 of the allowable imbalance. If dynamic balancing is required, it is necessary to see if the balance of the two calibration surfaces can be separated on the balancing machine. If the separation is not open, only static balance can be performed.
3. For some rotors such as open impellers, if the two ends cannot be supported, only static balance can be used. Because the two ends can not support, it is bound to carry the cantilever, so it is very dangerous to balance on the balance machine, and only one side (static) balance can be performed on the balance frame.
